Michele, the householder is a perfect gentleman. He listened to our needs and helped us in everything. His ospitality was simply perfect. The good breakfast in the courtyard was also very nice. Lets tase his self made marmelades, expecially the chili-marmelade...simply wonderful. With Mario, we hat the feeling to be real welcome friends, not just "tourists". The house is old style and simple, but very quiet and clean. PS: Ask Mario for a tipical local dinner. He will suggest you the Local "i tre farfalli". A "must" have if you like guood housemade regional dishes. It was simply the best restaurant of the whole holiday. **** Michele, il padrone di casa ci ha fatto sentire come degli amici, non come semplici turisti. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la sua simpatia e grande disponibilità. Stanze arredate in modo semplice in una casa antica, ma silenziose, spaziose e pulite. Colazione molto buona nella bella e fresca terrazza coperta (anche qui Mario ha soddisfatto ogni esigenza particolare delle nostre ragazze..). Da provare le marmellate fatte da lui stesso, soprattutto la marmellata di peperoncino...favolosa! Sicuramente uno dei posti dove io mi sono trovato meglio negli ultimi anni!

Nulla. Il Giardinetto rimarrà sicuramente il mio punto di riferimento quando tornerò a Reggio.

The location was perfect, right in the centre within walking distance of everything. The owner michele was also very pleasant.the room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was very poor. No choice only melba toast with jam and the coffee was always cold.

We stayed for one night at Al Giardinetto! Michele let us free to use the kitchen and to use everything there. We got some help to call a taxi before to leave, because it was raining a lot.

The shower is very hot, but with little water! The room is a little cold during the winter, but it is possible to sleep well.

very friendly and helpful, wonderful garden in the middle of a city

the B+B website charged comission for 4 nights even though I changed my mind and
only stayed 2, there was no way to make the BBplanet people understand so I
felt obliged to pay the commission, the manager did not accept but it was quite embarassing
